Tropicana Presents
Ghosts of the Urban World
An exhibition of lo-fi Street Photography by Anonymous, (she, her) a long time regular since the 1980s. The photographs were made locally over the past 10 years using a series of phone cameras. The images have been collaboratively curated by and @GilbertRossi – this exhibition is our 'Anonymous's' first photography exhibition.
Exhibition continues until the 18th of October 2026

Forty‑five years on the Cross
Sydney learned to drink coffee here.
Two laminex rooms, an espresso machine, and a generation of filmmakers, writers and regulars deciding what they were gunna do next. In 1993, two hundred people crammed across both rooms for the first Tropfest, and the festival took its name from the café.
